My favorite place to shop in Howard Beach Where the meat is always fresh and good sales everyday besides the flyer
The bread and bakery are amazing. I ordered the turkey dinner already made just had to heat it up at home best turkey we all had.
The review base on how impress I was when I went inside this market. This is not my neighborhood, but I used to work around here. Today I just dropped off something at the place nearby and I just wanted to check out if there are some interesting food inside the market. The market is huge and looks great! Verities of fruit and vegetables, daily stuff, meats and seafood, bakery etc. The place looks clean and very settle life customers. This market is really for resident and the surprise was I didn't know there will be such a wonderful and fancy supermarket in the area compared to the place around the neighborhood. Anyway, at the end, before I leave, the manager came up to me and ask if I need some help because he saw I took pictures of daily area. What is supposed to mean? Is he really want to service me or was being nervous of people will put a bad review on the place? This is make me feel like I'm not in New York City, this vibe will only happen when you are in the middle of nowhere, please don't be offended, I just have no Idea why he did that, LOL.
This review is focused on the bakery located inside Food Emporium. It's the best bakery for fresh breads in Howard Beach or Lindenwood. Huge fan of their pumpernickel bread and Italian loaves. My grandma always requests their pumpernickel when we have dinner at her home.
Amazing staff. Fresh food and fresh bread daily. Great cakes. We use them all the time for parties. Love their decor Christmas trees. One whole isle devoted to gluten free which I love. . It's a lot full of other stores and best part lots of parking spaces.
